In what will hopefully become an annual tradition, The Unrehearsed Shakespeare Company will be opening its second full season with the return of Twelfth Night on Twelfth Night.

Viola, the lone survivor of a terrible shipwreck, finds herself on the shores of far-away Illyria. Deprived of her twin brother and her protectors, she is advised (for her safety) to disguise herself as a boy and enter the service of Orsino, the lovesick Duke who pines for the widow Olivia. And hilarity ensues!

Fresh off the heels of our explosively successful MacBeth, we’ll be returning to Justin’s at 3358 N Southport (just off the Southport Brownline stop), an intimate space ideal for the personal power of Unrehearsed Shakespeare, where the Audience makes the performance as much as the Actors.

PLUS, at the end of each performance, hear us announce our core season for 2014: four more productions, as well as teasers for collaborations with other companies and future workshops!
